A beautiful collection and of short stories. I am in awe of how each story sucks you in with so few words. Every character feels so real and raw and I cannot emphasize enough that it happens in paragraphs. Really impressive work and I highly recommend reading everything you can from this author. She's inspired.

My Story
As a communications professional, living and working in Alberta, writing is a part of my everyday work life. Throughout my career, my creative writing was primarily focused on writing articles and content for newsletters as well as targeted communications pieces for organizations (visual arts, not-for-profits and arms-length contractors.)
Following my time as a student in the MacEwan Professional Writing Program, I began to parlay my skills and education into focusing more on such endeavours as short stories, poetry, and personal essays.
I take my inspiration from the little moments in life that would mostly go unnoticed to others, but leave indelible marks on the people and characters in my work.
In February 2020, I released In The Absence Of online through Kindle International. On the day it was released, it became the number one book in “Canadian Literature” and has sold copies around the world (including Denmark, Australia, and the USA.)
